Friday Flow: Yoga

Celebrate the end of the week with HerSpace! Yoga-style.
Nikki will lead the hour long practice. The session will focus on easing the tension from the week, and finding your own rhythm. The sequences will be fluid with an emphasis on smooth transitions and finding stability. As the pace increases and the blood gets moving, we will work with asanas that increase strength and flexibility.
The class is open to all levels, as creativity is encouraged! This way you make the practice your own, and in the process connect with what you individually need.

Nikki’s interest in yoga and conscious movement grew from her background in dance. From a young age she trained in classical ballet, character and contemporary dance. She pursued contemporary dance to a semi-professional level, working with many dance companies based in Melbourne and country Australia and also travelling internationally. In 2018 she completed her yoga teacher training in the Vinyasa tradition at Samyak Yoga in Mysore, India (200h Yoga Alliance certified). For Nikki, Yoga is developing presence and self-awareness both on and off the mat and using the physicality of asana to explore your potential
