Time to Talk: Multicultural competence in the Mental Health sector

Is access enough?

Studies have shown that minorities report having mental health issues but don’t seek mental health services. The pandemic has drastically changed our daily lives regarding employment, working routines and children’s schooling, to name a few. For many, the pandemic and isolation brought fear, anxiety, worry, loneliness and stress. We will discuss how the pandemic has affected the minority population in Norway. Is there enough access, and what is holding people back from seeking mental health services? Join us for a sit down with Maxmud Mo.
