Thriving in Norway: Holiday Traditions

December 2, 2020 @ 11:00 - 12:00 CET

Virtual Event Virtual Event
Free – 100kr

Let’s explore Norwegian holiday traditions and share new ways we are planning to celebrate the season. When it comes to Christmas, we think of family, winter activities, festive markets, feasts around the table with our loved ones. How will you create the spirit of the holidays in your home amidst a global pandemic?

Let’s talk about Norwegian seasonal foods that are special for this time of year, the “julebord” tradition, and share a list of the outdoor fun that can still be had in and around town. We will also discuss practicalities around the season: when does Christmas holiday begin, which shops are open on Sundays and when do they shut down for “red” days so you aren’t missing any staples to get yourself through the quiet days between Christmas and New Year. Preparation is key to enjoying the magic of the holidays. Let us help make your list for a stress-free holiday season.
