Creative Friday – Sewing Basics: Introduction

Sewing Basics is a series designed to build your sewing confidence so that you can work toward your own garment construction, or alteration or even design! We will be making a small project each evening to help you master a specific skill. Instructions will be mailed to you when you register so you can have your materials prepared and ready to go.
The evening will be run by HerSpace’s very own Julie Pavola!
The introductory session will provide a chance to get to know one another, share your sewing aspirations and plan how we can make them into a reality. Our first class will focus on sewing a straight seam by making a simple cloth napkin, both practical and eco-friendly!
Join us for plenty of laughter while you expand your skills and meet like-minded creatives!
Cost: Free, with the option to buy a donation ticket to support HerSpace.
