Yes, You can be a Woman in Tech too!

Yes, You can be a Woman in Tech too!
Let’s demystify technology! After all, isn’t just one more tool that we use in our daily lives?
In this session, I will tell you about my journey as a girl who grew up in Japan and Costa Rica and how I ended up working as a data scientist at DNB in Norway. Throughout the journey, I will touch upon Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other contemporary technologies and their profound impact on society; and discuss how we urgently need more diverse voices at the table where technology solutions are being designed and built.
Finally, I want us to explore new ways in which you can participate actively in decisions influencing the creation and usage of technology, and how to get started in tech, career-wise.
This event will be held online.
It is free to join this event. Please RSVP below.
