Uncomfortable Conversations on Anti-Racism: Feminism is for Everybody
March 18, 2021 @ 18:00 - 19:30 CET
Doing the work means choosing having Uncomfortable Conversations on Anti-Racism. We are renaming our series to better communicate how we create a space for you to learn, share and reflect with others on anti-racist work that will be hard, compassionate and so worth it.
Come to our session to learn and challenge yourself with the support of a community committed to anti-racism. The session is open for everybody, race, gender, ability and identity and no preparation is required.
2020 did not fall evenly on all women. The pandemic has exacerbated relations of domestic work, care, job precarity and health, and the privileges of the pandemic have run along racial and socioeconomic lines. In this Uncomfortable Conversation on Anti-Racism we will explore intersectional feminism and ask what a racially solidaric response to the pandemic looks like for women.
If some of the terms above are new to you, that’s great! Come to this meeting to understand some of factors that impact us within feminism and across race.
The proceeds of this event go directly to HerSpace to cover administrative costs.
