Exhibition: The Silent No

Diversify, in collaboration with HerSpace is organising an exhibition, The Silent No, leading up to our biggest conference on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, the Diversify Nordics Summit. The Silent No amplifies the need for diversity and inclusion of all people across social systems and structures within the Nordic society. It highlights the struggles of highly-skilled immigrants in finding relevant jobs.

The exhibition will be held in a shipping container at Spikersuppa in Roald Amundsens Gate from August 10th. There will be an installation of an enlarged rejection letter, symbolic of the many silent no’s immigrants hear when they start applying for jobs. Audio recordings of the experiences of immigrant women will be playing at the exhibition.

The Silent No exhibition will open on August 10 at 4:30 pm with a welcome note by our founder Chisom Udeze. There will be music and light snacks and refreshments. We invite you to join us and listen to our stories. 

The exhibition will be open everyday until August 25, a day before the Diversify Nordics Summit.
