Community Brunch: Nutrition for Life Takeover

Stephanie Maxson of Nutrition for Life will take over community brunch this Friday! Join us for a live cooking demo, streamed via the zoom waves!
Stephanie hosted her first Nutrition for Life: Eating for Health and Joy session last week and she is back to share some nourishing, but flavoursome recipes with you, so that the joy remains in your diet. All recipes will be vegetarian, with vegan options provided.
On the menu is:
- Corn and Sweet Potato Muffins
- Roasted Tomato and Basil Soup

About Stephanie Maxson:
It is a love of food, science and people that led Stephanie to study nutrition. Once she began practicing as a dietitian, Stephanie discovered her passion for helping people improve the quality of their life through diet change. Stephanie earned a master degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University in 2007, and is a Registered Dietitian in the U.S.
It has been Stephanie’s privilege to work the last 13 years supporting cancer patients and survivors of all ages, educating individuals and families on healthy eating habits to reduce disease risk, and coaching clients in making lifestyle changes to manage chronic disease and improve quality of life. Stephanie has worked in various capacities including as senior clinical dietitian at the #1 cancer hospital in the U.S., and adjunct professor at Bastyr University.
