Navigating Workplace Harassment with Evrysome
March 30, 2023 @ 17:30 - 21:00 CEST
Evrysome is presenting their new Consultancy aiming primarily at building a culture of consent through dialogue and interaction, with their first workshop centering Navigating Workplace Harassment. Explore how consent is the foundation of social justice, diversity and inclusion, and how the understanding of boundaries and accountability can build trust at your work.
During this event you will get insight and awareness on consent with an intersectional approach in order to accommodate – and reap the benefits of – diversity in a business setting. They will present their new Consensual Space Workshop for businesses, what you will be learning, why this is important, and how your workplace can benefit from this.
There will be light food during the event, and open for questions and mingling after the presentation.
This event is funded by Oslo Kommune through their grant program ‘Measures for Gender Equality and Women’s Liberation’.
About Evrysome:
Evrysome is best known for their creative and edgy event productions, centering and uplifting queers and marginalized individuals. Their events celebrate bodily liberation, and with that had a strong focus on consent in club settings. They have delivered Consent Workshops for their community and guests for a few years, in order to reduce sexual harassment and bring awareness to interpersonal respect in diverse spaces. In 2022 they started their journey on developing a consultancy plan in order to extend their knowledge and experience into new areas, with a goal of building a culture of consent in all facets of life situations.

Vinicius Brandão (He/Him)

As a Global Majority and Queer person, Vinicius understands firsthand the importance of anti-racism and gender equality as the foundation for achieving social justice.
Throughout his career as architect and urban planner, his work is rooted in his belief that our environment should manifest the diversity of its inhabitants, rather than be a reproduction of the exclusionary canons that has been used to shape our cities so far. His work is focused on breaking down barriers and creating spaces that are welcoming to all, regardless of race, gender, physical (in)abilities, or socioeconomic background.
Born and raised in Brazil, Vinicius has lived, studied, and worked in four different countries across 3 continents, bringing a global perspective to his work.
Catherine Clausen/Katie (She/Her)
Katie is a public speaker, mental health activist, and Head Of Consent for Evrysome. Coming from both the BDSM and mental health community she has developed a deep love for understanding human nature, sexuality, personal boundaries, consent, and the taboo.
With extensive experience and training in shadow work and metaphysical psychology she works with self actualization and transformation through radical accountability, integration, and compassion laced with a no bullsh*t approach.
Co-creator of the Consent Space Collective under Evrysome, Katie works with building communities and educating people to make their own empowered choices in their lives and society as a whole. Her ideal is reclaiming therapy as something you can do alone, in communities, and in COLLABORATION with a professional, not something restricted to a psychologist’s office. Teaching people strategies to find their personal blocks and unprocessed shame within a group that is able to hold space for such emotions, fostering even deeper connections and a sense of collective belonging.
Katie is passionate about the first step of creating a more harmonious and inclusive society, finding harmony and safer spaces within ourselves and our personal relationships.
