Diversity also goes beyond the outward perception of a company – it includes how the internal structures work and signal the value systems of an organization’s management or leadership team.

Our first D&I in the Workplace session for February will explore Leadership, Responsibility and Inclusion in 2024. Our speakers for the session are Chisom Udeze, Economist, DEI Strategist & Founder of Diversify, Diversify Consult & HerSpace, Flemming Kehr, Global Practice Lead, Sustainability Services at Mercuri Urval, and Staci Nakayama, VP of Information Technology at Expedia Group. The moderator is Iva Ogrizovic, Program Director at Diversify.

Flemming Kehr
Flemming helps organisations around the world to outperform through effective sustainable and transformational leadership using a precisely tailored, factful and systematic approach to Leadership Acquisition and Advisory. At Mercuri Urval, he has been co-leading the further developing the MU Advisory Services. Flemming has a strong strategic background and proven track record from assisting boards and top-management teams in market leading regional and international companies, US Fortune 100 companies as well as innovative start-ups and industry confederations. His expertise spans across purpose- and value-driven transformational leadership, DEIB-leadership, sustainability leadership audits, 360 gap analysis on sustainability capacity and capabilities as well as on how to embed sustainability and DEIB as a leadership imperative. He also has extensive experience as board and advisory board member.
Staci Nakayama
Staci Nakayama is a seasoned technology professional with over two decades of experience, currently serving as the Vice President of IT at Expedia Group. With an extensive background working in technology, she has navigated through diverse landscapes, having worked across four countries and three continents. At Expedia Group, she leads global and diverse teams spread across six continents and more than twenty countries dedicated to enhancing the employee experience through the delivery of intuitive, accessible, and inclusive technology solutions. Staci is committed to fostering inclusivity and diversity within the organization, believing an inclusive culture allows for diverse perspectives and experiences drives better collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Chisom Udeze
A seasoned Economist and three-time founder, brings over 14 years of leadership experience, driving organizational change and sustainable impact. With a global perspective from working in seven countries across three continents, she excels in uncertain environments. Collaborating with entities like the European Commission and The United Nations, she is adept at building relationships with diverse stakeholders. As the founder of Diversify and Diversify Consult, she spearheads the development of sustainable Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) strategies for companies, governments, and civil society. Notably, Diversify launched the Diversify Nordics Summit in 2022, a significant conference advancing DEIB in the Nordics. Chisom’s commitment to inclusivity extends to HerSpace, a co-creation community, and HerTech, a Women in Tech incubator launched in 2022, prioritizing diversity in leadership. A thought leader in DEIB and advocate for mental health, her writings on these topics, featured in Forbes, underscore her influence.
Iva Ogrizovic
Iva Ogrizovic is a Director at Diversify and People & Culture Partner at Diversify Consult. At Diversify Consult, Iva focuses on developing and implementing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) strategies and co-designs and delivers DEIB training and development programs. As the Director at Diversify, she co-creates and manages many of its initiatives including, but not limited to, The Blaze Inclusion Award, The Annual Gala, various Mentorship Programs and Entrepreneurial Incubators and Accelerators. With a Master’s in Philosophy and Comparative Literature, Iva’s background includes cultural event management, theater, and TV production. She is passionate about professional and personal development as well as empowering people to realize and use their potential for positive life changes.
