Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace: Decolonising Feminism and Gender Equality

Diversity and inclusion in the workplace is imperative for a sustainable, competitive and innovative company and society at large. Diversity also goes beyond the outward perception of a company – it includes how the internal structures work and signal the value systems of an organization’s management or leadership team.

Our March session of D&I in the Workplace will explore Decolonising Feminism and Gender Equality. Some of our speakers for the session include Chisom Udeze, Economist, DEI Strategist & Founder of Diversify, Diversify Consult & HerSpace, Thandi Dyani, Regional Network Organizer, Africa and The Nordics – BMW Foundation, and Qivioq Nivi Løvstrøm, Chair of the Human Rights Council of Greenland.

About the speakers:
Thandi Dyani (She/Her)

Thandi loves humanizing spaces and designs strategy and programs, provides training, keynotes and awareness for those that want to start their EDB journeys.Thandi co-initiated The UnLearning Journey for racial equity as well as the Gender Alliance, both platforms for reflection, awareness, training, leadership transformation and deep listening for a more just future. She has also been a DJ for more than 20 year and splits her time and work between the Nordics and Sub- Saharan Africa.
Chisom Udeze (She/Her)

Qivioq Nivi Løvstrøm is a Ph.D. Fellow under Nasiffik – the Centre for Foreign and Security Policy at Ilisimatusarfik, the University of Greenland.
She has her Master’s in Cultural- & Social History from Ilisimatusarfik.
She is the Chair of the Human Rights Council of Greenland (HRCG) and has experience working for the HRCG and the Foreign Ministry of Greenland as a Head of Section in the areas: Asia, Climate, Trade, Human Rights, and Indigenous Peoples Rights.
She is a former Focal point and later Co-chair of the Global Indigenous Youth Caucus (GIYC) under the UN and is currently their advisor. Qivioq is also on the Advisory Board of Arctic Circle.
