Workshop: Intro to Modern American Swing
This social dance class will give you an introduction to the Modern American Swing dances, which includes Swing, Waltz, Foxtrot and Bossa Nova rhythms.
The class will start you on your way to becoming an all-round social dancer, with the ability to dance on any dance floor, to any music with any dance partner! This is the old-school way to learn modern social dancing.
This workshop is FREE to attend with registration.
About the instructor:
Leanna Lunde has been teaching social dancing for 30 years in Australia, London, and the Nordics. Experiencing of the evolution of modern social dance, she has a unique understanding of how all the dances interconnect, enabling her students to become versatile social dancers. With a strong focus on safety and body ergonomics, Leanna teaches the modern forms of social dance, valuing personal style and creativity.
