Introduction to Qigong Flow

Do you want to reconnect with your body and lower stress levels?
This session on Introduction to Qiyong Flow will teach you to carve out sacred space with simple techniques and exercises that can be integrated into busy lives.
Qigong, which means ‘life energy cultivation’, can be described as yoga in motion. It is a form of low-impact exercise that is safe from the second trimester to labour and postpartum.
This session is open to all women, but centres around prenatal and postpartum care.
Learn to integrate breath and movement to trigger a relaxed state, as well as gentle stances to help strengthen your pelvic floor. The practice of Qigong trains the mind to connect to the body, encouraging you to feel balanced, grounded and open to accepting any physical and emotional challenges you may be experiencing.
You will leave the session knowing how to feel your own Qi, as well as a simple flow you can integrate into life at home.
This event will be held in-person at HerSpace: Strandgata 19, 0152 Oslo.
Maximum attendees: 6 people

About Sisi Hansen King
Sisi is a Qigong teacher, holistic aesthetician and trainee postnatal doula. She moved to Norway three years ago and started learning about postnatal care when, as a new mother, she realised the healthcare system overlooks postpartum care.
Having used Qigong and self-care rituals herself in recovering from postnatal depression, she is passionate about supporting women through the emotional and physical challenges that accompany motherhood or pregnancy loss. She wants to create a space for new parents and help them on their postnatal care journey. She aims to establish this as a business.
