Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. Despite these topics being overwhelming and sometimes hard to follow, engaging with the services and resources which are available is crucial to ensure financial security for our future. These skills also help support various life goals, such as saving for education or retirement, using debt responsibly, and running a business. Being financially literate also prevents you from getting into unwanted financial positions, in the worst case, fraud. It’s like making a commitment to be healthy, your future self will thank you!

Future. Security. Insurance.

Have you ever dropped or poured a drink over a laptop? Have you ever had something stolen or needed travel insurance for a trip abroad? Ever been in an accident? And do you live in a rental apartment or own your own home? Are you a business owner or considering starting your own company?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then this session is for you. Join us to learn more about General Insurance from Aika. General insurance, also known as non-life insurance policies provide coverage for a variety of miscellaneous non-life insurance. General insurance includes but is not limited to the following: travel, home, health, commercial, accident, fire, property and theft insurance.

This event is co-produced by HerSpace, Diversify and Africa Connect.
