We know that everyone can be creative and that craft helps us unwind after busy days. It benefits our mental health and self-confidence. We also believe that you can make your own art and experience it on your clothes and home accessories. 

There is an incredible pride in wearing something we have made ourselves. Embroidery has a great potential to allow us to create a unique, not-so-very-perfect but still having that WOW effect, handmade art.

Plants on People & HerSpace invites you to learn embroidery during a 9-hour beginners course. The techniques you’ll learn will allow you to apply your knowledge to any piece of a wardrobe of your choice. You will learn how to do leaves & flowers in various techniques. During this course, you will learn simple yet cohesive patterns that will help you start making personalized compositions in the future. You will also learn about the helpful tricks and tips and avoid common beginners mistakes. 

All of this in a friendly, supportive atmosphere that will let you tap into your creativity and discover that you can also draw patterns for your own projects! 

You have a choice to join just for one day to learn the basics or join also the second day and continue on the project, making sure you finish it and tackle all the issues that may arise during the completion of an embroidery pattern. Joining for two days will for sure give you more confidence and having a week in between helps with getting some perspective on what you have been learning. 

You can join the first day and afterward decide if you want to join for the second.

Important info

Materials are included – you will choose from a wide selection of high-quality embroidery floss and needles. The fabric will also be available as well as all other necessary materials. 

Most of them you will be able to take home for further practice 🙂 

After the second day, you will also bring home a booklet to help you remember what you learned. 

What to bring? 

You can bring a shirt, skirt or jeans that you wish to embroider on in the future to check if it is possible to work on them. If it is, it is up to you – you can start learning directly on those. Yes, it is possible!
